The Palestine Pilgrimage

Interest Form

Join us on a journey of solidarity as we embark on a pilgrimage to Palestine/Israel. This experience is designed to bring 15 BIPOC leaders into proximity with Palestinian peacemakers, offering an opportunity to listen, learn, and leverage our influence during these challenging times in pursuit of mutual flourishing.  We will be accepting up to 15 participants under 40yrs old.

What to expect

We engage with a variety of opportunities that prompt exploration, listening, learning, and connection. In partnership with  Sabeel, and local Palestinian leaders, this pilgrimage will include:

  1. Orientation and theological grounding that situates the journey within the realities of occupation and settler colonialism, introducing Palestinian liberation theology as a faith rooted in lived experience and steadfastness.
  2. Conversation with Palestinian faith leaders, theologians, organizers, legal advocates, and artists from Bethlehem Institute of Justice, Kairos Palestine, and Adalah on topics such as prophetic faith, nonviolent resistance, and ethical discipleship.
  3. Walking the land theologically and politically in Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and surrounding areas of the West Bank, examining how sacred space and religious narratives are used to justify domination or to inspire resistance.
  4. Participation in Christ at the Checkpoint Conference, engaging global conversations that challenge Christian Zionism and reclaim the gospel as a call to justice, equality, and liberation.
  5. Learning from public historians and community stakeholders through visits to historic sites, museums, and spaces of political art, including the Tent of Nations and the Walled Off Hotel.
  6. Sharing worship, meals, and cultural experiences with local communities, engaging Palestinian art, music, and storytelling as expressions of embodied theology and resistance.

Together, we will hear stories firsthand and engage in meaningful dialogue that supports mutual flourishing, solidarity, and ongoing commitment beyond the journey to education and advocacy in our circles of influence. RSVP  with Interest form by February 15th, 2026.
