Come walk the streets of Chicago’s West Side—where justice isn’t just an idea, it’s a lived, daily pursuit. This multi-day pilgrimage invites you into the real stories, real struggles, and real hope of a community organizing for shalom. We need one another to imagine our role in rebuilding a just world.
What to expect
- Walk alongside local leaders—pastors, entrepreneurs, organizers, and neighbors who are actively shaping a vision for collective healing and justice.
- Engage in honest conversations about race, equity, and systemic injustice—with space to listen, lament, and imagine new possibilities.
- Experience the city through a justice lens, learning how place, policy, and power intersect in neighborhoods often overlooked.
- Reflect theologically and spiritually on what it means to follow Jesus in the face of injustice—and what that demands of your life and faith.
- Be challenged to act—to move beyond comfort, to deepen your solidarity, and to take your next faithful step toward justice where you live.
This isn’t a tour. It’s a transformation. Come ready to listen, to be undone, and to join in God’s work of renewal. The road toward a more just world begins with a single step. Let this pilgrimage be yours.
