This year a wrecking ball came in and destroyed any sense of personal normalcy. God can guide us to Re:build. This year the world was demolished. God can empower us to Re:build.
RE:BUILD, Lessons from 2020 and Longings for 2021
Does it feel like we are barely making it to the end of the year? We are grieving countless personal and communal losses. It can feel like violence, disease and injustice kicked our asses. Even our celebrations have been muted by small distanced gatherings.
This year a wrecking ball came in and destroyed any sense of personal normalcy. God can guide us to Re:build.
This year the world was demolished. God can empower us to Re:build.
Allow us to guide you in saying “buh-bye” to 2020 and “hey” to 2021. We will be walking you through our process of reflecting on lessons from 2020 and longings for 2021. We will provide reflections and guidance through a personal process PDF guide.
The empty space between closing and beginning of a season is a productive and necessary time. God has placed us into an empty space so we have the gift of time to:
- Celebrate the good things that we have accomplished, the things we learned, the connection we made with others.
- Express our gratitude to God and others.
- Lament what we are closing and consider what we are leaving.
- Prepare to enter into the new stage with God’s guidance
- Receive God’s healing and renewal
Re:build, Lessons from 2020 and Longings for 2021 was a Patreon-exclusive event that was held December 17th. While the event video is only available to patrons, we wanted to offer the PDF guide to all. Join us on Patreon before January 14th to continue the journey with us to RE:build a just world.
